The Indian market fell on Monday amid weak global cues as benchmarks Nifty50 closed just a shade above 17,300 and Sensex dropped around 850 points, however, cues on Tuesday remained mixed to negative.
The SGX Nifty rose around 50 points on the Singaporean exchange in early trade on Monday, while the Asian market traded mixed on Tuesday morning. Japanese Nikkei 225 rose more than one per cent, while Hang Seng Index at the Hong Kong Exchange dropped 0.88% and Chinese Shanghai Composite traded lower by 0.10%.
In the US market, Dow Jones declined by 184 points Nasdaq Index ended lower by 124 points and S&P 500 closed with a cut of 27 points on Monday.
