As the market extended gain to the fifth day on Friday with the benchmarks Nifty50 and Sensex ending higher by 0.225 each, the cues from Asian markets were largely positive on Tuesday morning.
SGX Nifty, which hints at the opening trend for the Indian market, was seen trading higher by 60 points in the early trade on the Singaporean exchange on Tuesday morning.
Likewise, Japanese Nikkei 225 gained 0.08%, Hang Seng Index at the Hong Kong Exchange rose 0.49%and Chinese Shanghai Composite was trading higher by 0.33% in the early trade on Tuesday.
