The global markets, especially the US, closed in the green on Wednesday and Asian indices are trading mixed in the early morning trade on Thursday.
The Indian markets concluded Wednesday’s session on a mixed/flat note as Sensex ended in the red and Nifty50 in the green above the 17500-mark. Sectors such as IT, Realty and FMCG stocks dragged the market most during yesterday’s session.
According to SGX Nifty’s trend, the Nifty50 is likely to open positive on Thursday. Besides, the global markets, especially the US, closed in the green on Wednesday and Asian indices are trading mixed in the early morning trade on Thursday.
Ajit Mishra, VP – Research, Religare Broking Ltd reiterated bullish view on markets and suggest continuing with the “buy on dips” approach until the Nifty holds 17,300.
“Meanwhile, global cues, earnings and upcoming macro data would keep the volatility high. Participants should align their positions accordingly and avoid contrarian bets,” Mishar added.
