The Indian markets snapped their six-day winning streak to end marginally negative on Thursday, ahead of the Reserve Bank of India’s monetary policy decision today. The BSE Sensex fell by over 118 points and the Nifty50 settled below the 17400-mark, mainly dragged by banking and financial stocks.
The markets on Friday are likely to open positive as SGX Nifty in the early morning trade is in the green up 67 or 0.39 per cent higher to 17464-level.
The US markets on Thursday closed mixed, similarly, even Asian markets also trading mixed with Japan’s Nikkei and China’s Shanghai in the green, while Hong Kong’s Hang Send is in the red in the early morning trade on Friday.
