Hinting at a negative opening for the domestic market, SGX Nifty declined by more than 120 points in the opening trade on the Singaporean Exchange on Tuesday.
Likewise, Hang Seng Index at the Hong Kong Exchange dropped more than one per cent and Chinese Shanghai Composite fell by 0.20% on Tuesday morning. However, Japanese Nikkei 225 gained more than half per cent.

On Monday, the US market too remained in the red. Dow Jones declined by 0.69%, Nasdaq ended lower by 0.81% and S&P 500 dropped 0.84% on Monday.
