Your physical driver’s licence can be stored on your smartphone in the form of an extremely secure digital copy. It is not a substitute for the current card, but rather an addition to it. Your driver’s e-license is equally valid as your traditional driver’s licence. You can download your driver’s licence online through the Digilocker website, the Parivahan Sewa website, or the mobile app.

METHOD 1:
- On your smartphone, launch the Digilocker application.
- Select the “Driving licence” option from the homepage’s “Documents you might require” section.
- Select “Ministry of Road and Transport Highways” from the list of options.
- After entering your “driver’s licence number,” select “receive the documents.”
- There will be a PDF download option for the driver’s licence.

METHOD 2:
- Visit the website for Parivahan Sewa.
- Click on “Driver’s license-related services” under the “online services” section.
- Choose the name of your state from the provided drop-down menu.
- Click “Print Driving licence” in the “Driving licence section.”
- Include your application number and birth date.
- After selecting the “Submit” button and viewing your driving licence information, you can print this licence or save it as a PDF.
METHOD 3:
- Log in to your account by visiting the Digilocker website.
- In the top-left corner of the page, select the “Search Documents” link.
- Select “Driver’s License” from the menu.
- The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways could be tapped.
- After entering your “driver’s licence number,” select “Get the document.”
