The last date to file Income Tax Return for FY (Financial Year) 2021-22 is July 31, 2022. For other taxpayers to whom audit is applicable, the return filing due date is October 31, 2022. HERE IS HOW TO e- verify YOUR RETURN THROUGH DEMAT ACCOUNT:
Step 1: Go to the e-Filing portal homepage and click e-Verify Return.
Step 2: Link Aadhaar Number with PAN (if not linked)
Step 3: After Aadhaar is successfully linked, click on the screen.

Step 4: Select option to e-Verify return using Demat account.
Step 5: Now enter the EVC received on your mobile number and email ID registered with your Demat account, and click on e-Verify.
Note: Then the verification success message will be displayed on the screen along with a Transaction ID and EVC.
