The last date to file Income Tax Return for FY (Financial Year) 2021-22 is July 31, 2022. For other taxpayers to whom audit is applicable, the return filing due date is October 31, 2022. HERE IS HOW TO E-VERIFY YOUR RETURN THROUGH AADHAAR OTP:
Step 1: Go to the e-Filing portal homepage and click e-Verify Return.
Step 2: Link Aadhaar Number with PAN (if not linked)
Step 3: After Aadhaar is successfully linked, click on the screen.
Step 4: Select the option to e-Verify return using Aadhaar OTP.
Step 5: Generate OTP which you will receive on your registered mobile number
Step 6: Enter your OTP on the e-filing portal, then the process is verified.
