With the commercial cooking gas price cut, the 19 kg cylinder will cost Rs 2219 instead of Rs 2354 in Delhi, and Rs 2171.50 instead of Rs 2306 in Mumbai.
The commercial LPG cylinder (19 kg) will be cheaper by Rs 135 from June 1, 2022, according to a Zee Business report. The prices of the same were hiked by Rs 100 on May 1, 2022.
With the commercial cooking gas price cut, the 19 kg cylinder will cost Rs 2219 instead of Rs 2354 in Delhi, and Rs 2171.50 instead of Rs 2306 in Mumbai.
Similarly, the price of the same will also see a change in other metropolitan cities, as in Kolkata it will cost Rs 2322 instead of Rs 2454 and Rs 2373 instead of Rs 2507 in Chennai.
The price of the 19-kg commercial LPG was raised by Rs 250 per cylinder earlier on April 1 and the same was hiked by Rs 105 on March 1, 2022.
Meanwhile, Oil marketing companies, which include Indian Oil Corporation, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation and Bharat Petroleum Corporation, are scheduled to organise more than 5,000 LPG panchayats across the country today to celebrate Ujjwala Diwas.
Apart from experience sharing, aimed at safe and sustained usage of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), the oil marketing companies will also make efforts to maximise customer enrolment.
