Aman was killed after a dispute over DJ music in a wedding procession in Indore. Another person was severely injured and has been admitted to a hospital for treatment. A fight had erupted over the choice of music played in the procession which escalated quickly, leading to the death of the victim.
FIGHT OVER MUSIC
The incident took place in Alok Nagar which falls in the Azad Nagar police station area. An argument had erupted between the victim, Vinod Chauhan and the DJ after Chauhan had opposed the music being played during the procession and slapped the DJ. Although the matter was calmed down by the others present at the time, the DJ came back later with some of his companions with knives and attacked Chauhan. Manoj Chauhan, who was trying to stop the fight, was also gravely injured by the accused.
Police were notified about the incident who took the two victims to the hospital where Vinod succumbed to his injuries. Manoj remains in a serious condition at the hospital. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter under a team headed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).
