The government of India provides subsidies on domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for households across the country. It has launched a number of public benefit schemes and the direct benefit transfer scheme is one of them. There are three prominent LPG suppliers, which include Bharat Gas, Indane Gas and HP Gas. The intention behind these subsidized cylinders is to extend a hand for affordable LPG cylinders which the central government provides up to 12 domestic cylinders per year. The amount will be directly credited to the customer’s bank account. To get the benefits of this scheme, LPG customers ought to link their Aadhaar with their respective gas connections.
STEPS TO LINK AADHAAR WITH INDANE GAS:

ONLINE:
Step 1: Open the official website of UIDAI
Step 2: Provide details of your address.
Step 3: Fill in the essential details like benefit type, scheme, distributors name, and Indane Gas ID.
Step 4: Next fill in the contact details and tap on the submit button.
Step 5: Now an OTP will be generated and will be sent to the registered mobile number by submitting the application to complete the process.
OFFLINE:
Step 1: In the offline process, the form needs to be collected from the bank.
Step 2: You can also download the form from the official website of Indane gas.
Step 3: Fill in all the required details.
Step 4: Now fill in IOCL as the name of the company.
Step 5: You need to fill in all the details in the form and submit it to the nearest Indane Gas distributor.
Step 6: A self-attested copy of the Aadhaar card is submitted along with the form.
Step 7: After the form is submitted, the executive sends the acknowledgment slip to check the linking status in the future.

SMS:
Step 1: For linking the Aadhaar card with the Indane gas via SMS, the user needs to visit the official website on Indane Gas and then search for distributor details.
Step 2: Next send an SMS to the number of your distributor.
Step 3: The format for sending the SMS is UID
IVRS METHOD:
Step 1: You can visit the official website of Indane Gas to search for IVRS contact details.
Step 2: Then make a call for the respective IVRS number.
Step 3: Provide your Aadhaar details and confirm them.
Step 4: Now you can follow the instructions to link your Aadhaar Card to the Indane Gas connection.
