WhatsApp has recently rolled out a feature where users are now able to share their location on WhatsApp status. Just like the Instagram sticker icon, WhatsApp has also introduced a sticker icon for location. This feature allows you to share your current location or any other location of your choice through maps.
The WhatsApp status location sticker is available on both Android and iOS.
Here is how to add a location to your WhatsApp status for iPhone users-
- Open WhatsApp and click on the status option from the bottom left corner.
- Tap on the camera icon or ‘+’ icon from My Status.
- Click a picture/video or choose from the gallery.
- Choose the emoji icon from the above options.
- Choose the ‘location sticker’ from the content stickers section.
- Either tap the ‘Select This Location’ option or search other options to change the location.
- Share the status with your contacts.
