Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) account needs to be updated on the changes that take place regularly. Once a user registers with a valid mobile number that is linked with the EPF account, a one-time password (OTP) will be generated to claim for the changes to be made. Also, the use of a valid email address needs to be submitted when queries occur on the user’s account.
The Member Sewa Portal needs to be updated with KYC details under the Employee Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). KYC, which stands for ‘Know your Customer’, helps in verification by linking UAN with KYC details. This up-gradation of mobile number, email ID, and date of birth is possible in the EPF account.
