Ranbir Kapoor, who was recently promoting his late dad Rishi Kapoor’s last film Sharmaji Namkeen, is close to finishing the shoot of Luv Ranjan’s untitled film. However, at the same time, the actor has apparently decided to begin shooting for director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal by the end of the month. This means Ranbir will be juggling between two films in the month of April, 2022.
RANBIR TO BEGIN ANIMAL’S SHOOT IN APRIL: REPORT
A source close to the development informed Mid-Day said that director Sandeep had multiple conversations with his production team regarding the locking of venues across Mumbai. As per the source, a major portion of Animal will be shot outdoors. And hence, the makers of the film are initiating the process of procuring permission.
“Ranbir has yet to can some crucial scenes for his film with Luv. So, he will juggle the two projects in the last week of April, before giving his undivided attention to Vanga’s movie from the first week of May,” the source informed the leading tabloid.
PARINEETI CHOPRA BACKS OUT OF ANIMAL
Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has opted out of Animal. As per reports, Rashmika Mandanna has stepped into the shoes of Parineeti to play Ranbir Kapoor’s on-screen wife in the film. On the other hand, Anil Kapoor will be seen essaying the role of Ranbri’s father in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial venture.
RANBIR’S COMEBACK TO MOVIES
Five years after the release of Sanju, Ranbir will be returning to the big screen with Yash Raj Films’ Shamshera with Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. The film is scheduled for release on July 22, 2022. Post that, RK will be seen with GF Alia Bhatt in Brahmastra, which will hit the big screen on September 9, 2022.
