The data on the iOS device doesn’t get permanently erased. It stays back with the data that remains in the iPhone storage that needs to be permanently wiped out. But, it is manageable to remove all the content and settings from the iOS store, which results in the device being free from data. There are two ways in which the data can be deleted permanently; one is directly deleted from the iPhone and the next is using a Mac or Windows PC to erase data and settings from the iPhone.
GUIDE TO ERASE DATA FROM IPHONE:
iPhone:
Step 1: Open your Apple device
Step 2: Go to the settings icon on your device
Step 3: Tap on the General button in the settings option.
Step 4: Next, choose the transfer or reset button on your iPhone
Step 5: Click on and erase all content and settings from your device.
Mac or Windows PC:
Mac:
Step 1: You need to connect your iPhone to a computer cable.
Step 2: Go to the Finder sidebar on your Mac and select iPhone.
Step 3: Click on the General option at the top of the window.
Step 4: Then tap on Restore iPhone.
Windows PC:
Step 1: Open the iTunes app on the Windows PC.
Step 2: Next tap on the iPhone button at the top left corner of the iTunes window.
Step 3: Now click on the Summary button.
Step 4: Finally, choose the option ‘Restore iPhone’.
