Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is one of the widely used payment methods in India. This system is integrated with multiple bank accounts with a single mobile application. The instant money transfer occurs with merchant payments under one umbrella. It is required for the banks to support UPI payments through your bank account for making payments with Google Pay. With the UPI app, an individual needs to create a virtual payment address that is different for different UPI service providers.
A user can create more than one UPI ID by setting up a new account with Google Pay. This will help when there is an issue or failure while making payments. Then a prompt will appear to add new UPI IDs to the existing bank account. The creation of the new UPI ID can be done by the user themselves.
