The UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) mobile application is a government app where citizens can get access to government public schemes including Employees’Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO).
Users who want to check their EPF details through the app should make sure to activate their UAN and register their mobile number. They can get details of the deposits made for their EPF in various organisations they work at Universal Account Number or UAN, which is unique for all the employees enrolled under the EPF scheme.

A UAN number is allotted by the Employee Provident Fund Organization (EPFO). All employees should have only one UAN during their working life, irrespective of the companies they change.

HERE IS HOW TO CHECK PF DETAILS VIA UMANG MOBILE APP:
EPFO provides various services through the centralised mobile app of the government, called Umang. The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store/App Store. Members can check their PF balance and download their passbooks on this app.

- Download the application from the Play Store/App Store.
- Open the Umang app on your smartphone and select EPFO.
- Click on the ‘Employee Centric Services.’
- Click on ‘View Passbook’ to check your EPF balance.
- Enter your UAN and click on Get OTP to send the OTP to the mobile number registered with UAN. Enter the OTP and click on ‘login.’
- Select the member ID of the company for which you want to check the EPF balance.
- Your passbook will be displayed on the screen along with your EPF balance.
