Island Travel Restrictions: Referring to this Tourism Fiji added that the destination marketing organisational arm of the Fijian Government agency said that India has been included as part of Fiji’s Travel Partner country list by the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Tourism & Transport – Fiji.

Travelling to Fiji is all set to become easier. Authorities have announced plans to lift travel-related restrictions and reopen borders for Indian tourists. And as per the reports, fully vaccinated Indian travellers can enjoy a holiday in Fiji without undergoing quarantine, although there are some entry requirements still in place.

Referring to this Tourism Fiji added that the destination marketing organisational arm of the Fijian Government agency said that India has been included as part of Fiji’s Travel Partner country list by the Ministry of Commerce, Trade, Tourism & Transport – Fiji. This means Indian travellers can now travel to Fiji via the currently open transit routes of Singapore and Australia, to enjoy a quarantine-free vacation in this beautiful island nation.

Those travelling to Fiji must be fully vaccinated (children under 18 can travel with a vaccinated adult), and will be required to provide a negative PCR test taken within two days prior to departure, or a negative RAT test taken within 24 hours prior to departure. The travellers then can arrive on Fiji’s shores, and enjoy the best of the island nation.

Tourism Fiji CEO Brent Hill stated that they are delighted to welcome visitors from India once again, and that India continues to be one of their most prominent emerging markets, from where travellers can visit to enjoy premium and personalised experiences. He added that they aim to capture a greater share of India’s outbound travel in the coming months, which will help shore up the long-term prospects of both the tourism sectors.

As per the Tourism Department statement, travellers can now go ahead and book in confidence with the Care Fiji Commitment, where they can fly on Fiji Airways, use certified transportation and experiences, stay in certified resorts, and be assured that all tourism businesses they come in to contact with have a 100% vaccinated staff.
