PM-Kisan Scheme: The Modi government had started the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM KISAN) Yojana scheme from 2018. Under the PM KISAN scheme, all landholding farmers’ families are provided with a financial benefit of Rs 6000 per annum per family and payable in three equal installments of Rs 2000 each, every four months. So, far 10 installments have been released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The farmer beneficiaries are waiting for the 11th installment.
All the landholding farmers’ families who have cultivable landholding in their names are eligible to get benefit under the PM-Kisan scheme. Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 10th installment on January 1, 2022.

Now, in this regard, there are certain important pointers that the farmers must know about the scheme. The PM-Kisan website states that all serving or retired officers and employees of central / state government ministries / offices / departments and their field units, central or state PSEs and attached offices / autonomous institutions under government as well as regular employees of the Local Bodies are not eligible to get benefit under the scheme.
However, serving or retired Multi Taskin Staff (MTS) / Class lV / Group D employees are eligible to get benefit under the scheme, provided their families are otherwise eligible and not covered under other exclusion criteria.
An individual can also ascertain his status through the Farmers Corner in the PM Kisan portal.
In order to check the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi beneficiary status, one has to follow some simple steps. They are as follows:
Step 1: The individual has to visit the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi home page pmkisan.gov.in
Step 2: The individual will then have to click on the ‘Beneficiary Status’ tab is present on the home page
Step 3: Now, after clicking on the beneficiary status, the person will have to choose either option – Aadhaar number, Account number, or Mobile number
Step 4: After choosing the selected option, click on ‘Get Data’
Now, the beneficiaries will be able to see the data.
