Sidharth Shukla’s sudden demise on September 2 shook the entire nation. The Bigg Boss 13 winner had a huge fan following, and he often trended on Twitter. His good friend and rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill was left heartbroken as well, and she took a break from work for more than a month. The actress recently came out with a heartfelt tribute for Sidharth Shukla, Tu Yaheen Hai, which showcased their sweet moments on Bigg Boss 13. However, this did not go down well with many of his fans who started trending ‘Stop Using Sidharth Shukla’ on Twitter. Now, Aly Goni has defended Shehnaaz in a new tweet.
ALY GONI DEFENDS SHEHNAAZ GILL
Aly Goni shared a tweet which criticised artists including Jaan Kumar Sanu and Amit Tandon for announcing tributes to Sidharth Shukla. The tweet read, “Here we are still mourning this unfortunate event n people who claim to be his close friends are selling emotions on the name of a Tribute. Asking us to make REELS on someone’s death, counting views n likes! How low will they stoop? Stop the mockery! STOP USING SIDHARTH SHUKLA.” Aly had responded to the post saying, “Stop it guys seriously (sic).”

Aly Goni then shared another tweet clarifying that he was defending Shehnaaz Gill. He wrote, “I think there is misunderstanding in my last tweet.. first of all Shehnaz ka poora Haq banta hai to tribute and I loved that song (Shehnaaz has all the right to pay tribute to Sidharth).. secondly that tweet was for those people who drag Sid in the name of cover songs reels and all. Jo uss tweet mein mention tha (which was mentioned in the tweet).. #peaceout (sic).”

SHEHNAAZ GILL’S TU YAHEEN HAI FOR SIDHARTH SHUKLA
Shehnaaz Gill launched her song Tu Yaheen Hai, a tribute to Sidharth Shukla on October 29. The song features Shehnaaz mourning Sidharth’s death with clips from moments she spent with the Bigg Boss 13 winner in the BB house. Sung by Shehnaaz Gill, Tu Yaheen Hai’s lyrics and music has been given by Raj Ranjodh. In the video, Shehnaaz is seen remembering Sidharth and the time spent with him. The video has many emotional moments.
Sidharth Shukla died after suffering a heart attack on September 2. The late actor was cremated in Oshiwara on September 3.
