Business tycoon Anand Mahindra’s Twitter account is filled with interesting and informative posts. Every now and then, Mahindra shares achievements and milestones completed by people under tough circumstances and they are quite interesting to read. In his recent tweet, Mahindra shared a video of Delhi’s famous Matka Man and how he manages to provide fresh drinking water to people all over the city. The video has now gone viral.
Alag Natarajan, also known as the Matka Man of Delhi regularly supplies drinking water to several areas across Delhi. To cater to people’s water needs, he bought a Mahindra Bolero maxi-truck in September 2021 using his pension, life savings and donations from well-wishers, according to a description on his website. The truck is fitted with two 1000-litre water tanks. Mahindra thanked Natarajan for his service to the community.
“A Superhero that’s more powerful than the entire Marvel stable. MatkaMan. Apparently he was an entrepreneur in England & a cancer conqueror who returned to India to quietly serve the poor. Thank you Sir, for honouring the Bolero by making it a part of your noble work,” Mahindra captioned the video.
