Okaya has launched two new electric scooters under ‘Freedum’. The new electric scooter will be available at a starting price of Rs 69,999. It has been launched in 12 colour options.
The country’s leading company Okaya has launched two of its new electric scooters in India, Freedum LI-2 and Freedum LA-2. Both of these electric scooters are Made in India.
This is the company’s third product in the electric scooter segment. It had earlier entered this sector back in July. With the help of the Freedum series, the company is offering customers a good battery range at an affordable price.
Price and Colours:
The price of these scooters in India starts from Rs 69,999. It has been launched in 12 colour options. The company is also planning to launch more powerful electric scooters and bikes in the near future. The Okaya Freedum LI-2 has a 250W BLDC hub motor. It is powered by a 48V 30Ah battery. This scooter can run up to 70-80 kilometres on a single charge. It will take around 4-5 hours to fully charge its battery and you can do it at your home.
Top speed
The top speed of this electric scooter is 25 Kmph. This scooter features disc and drum brakes. The scooter has features like a digital display, telescopic front suspension, monoscopic rear suspension, LED headlamp, LED DRL, remote lock/unlock and wheel lock.
Requires 8-10 hours for full charge
The Okaya Freedom LA2 has a 250W BLDC hub motor and a 48V 28Ah VLRA (C20) battery. This scooter can run up to 50-60 kilometres on a single charge. It will take 8-10 hours for its battery to be fully charged. The top speed of this electric scooter is 25 Kmph. This scooter features disc and drum brakes. It also has features like digital display, telescopic front suspension, monoscopic rear suspension, LED headlamp, LED DRL, remote lock/unlock and wheel lock as well as disc front brake and drum rear brake.
