The role of a teacher is not only limited to the four walls of the classroom. A good teacher help to shape the overall personality of the student and prepares them to face any challenges life throws in from to of them in the future. In simple words, teachers play a vital role in the holistic development of children. They can ignite the imagination, inspire hope and impart a love for learning in a child. And to mark this special bond is why we celebrate Teachers’ Day.
September 5th is celebrated as Teacher’s Day in India to honour the pious bond between the children and their mentors who influence their lives in several ways. The day falls on the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, an Indian philosopher, academic, and statesman, who served as the first Vice President and Second President of independent India. Despite all his accomplishments and contributions, Radhakrishnan remained a teacher throughout his life. He believed that true teachers are those who help us think for ourselves, so they should be the best minds in the country.
So, on this occasion, you too pay regard to your mentor who helped you realise your true potential and thank them for whatever they have done for you. Here are some images and greetings that you can send them on this special occasion.
