GREATER NOIDA: The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) on Thursday imposed fine of Rs 3 lakh on four companies for violating NGT pollution norms with a warning of doubling the amount on repeating mistakes.
The companies include Anand Builder, HS-II plot in Sector 3, Greater Noida, which was fined Rs 50,000 for leaving construction material in the open.
Others companies are Apex Alphabet GH-01 in Techzone 4, which was fined Rs 1 lakh for leaving construction material on 60-metre-wide road and installing mixer plant obstructing the drainage of water from the drain.
Additionally, Moni Construction Company in Sector 16B was fined Rs 50,000 for leaving untended soil and construction material on the 60-meter service road and RCC drain work.
Also, French apartment in Sector 16B was fined Rs 1 lakh for disregarding the NGT rules. This building complex had kept its waste material in the open.
The authority directed to deposit the fined amount in favour of the NGT.
Narendra Bhooshan, CEO of GNIDA meanwhile has appealed to all residents to contribute towards making the city clean.
