SHILPA SHETTY SAYS IT’S OK TO MAKE MISTAKES
Shilpa Shetty has been quite active on Instagram lately. She recently returned as a judge to the sets of the dance reality show Super Dancer 4 and has been sharing inspirational book excerpts. On Thursday (August 26), she shared a new book excerpt to tell her fans that it is okay to make mistakes. It begins with a quote by Sophia Loren, which reads, “Mistakes are part of the dues one pays for a full life.”
The excerpt reads, “We can’t make our lives interesting without making a few mistakes here and there. We hope that they won’t be dangerous mistakes or mistakes that hurt other people. But there will be mistakes. We can see our mistakes as things we’d like to forget or as our most interesting, challenging and stimulating experiences. Not because of the mistakes themselves but because of what we learned from them.”
The note concluded, “I’m going to make mistakes, I will forgive myself and learn from them.” While sharing the book excerpt, Shilpa added a sticker that read, “Made a mistake but it’s okay.”
SHILPA SHETTY’S THOUGHT ABOUT FAITH
Earlier, Shilpa Shetty shared another photo of book excerpt which was about faith. The picture showed a quote by Bertrand Russell that read, “What we need is not the will to believe, but the wish to find out.”
The book excerpt read, “Faith involves a leap of imagination. Real faith also involves a searching, a desire to find answers to life’s most difficult questions. We may have faith that follows the teachings of an organised religion, or we may have faith we have acquired through our own experiences and study. In either case, we do not betray our faith when we continue to search for meaning. Rather, we deepen and strengthen it.”
Shilpa Shetty was last seen in Hungama 2, which released on Disney+Hotstar. It is a sequel to the 2003 hit film Hungama. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Meezaan Jafri and Pranitha Subhash in pivotal roles. Shilpa has Sabbir Khan’s upcoming film Nikamma in the pipeline. Nikamma also stars Abhimanyu Dasani and Shirley Setia.
