Six children have been found to be Covid-19 positive in two government schools soon after Haryana government decided to reopen all the schools in the state.
Six children have been found to be Covid-19 positive in two government schools of Gularwala and Karandi villages in Fatehabad soon after Haryana government decided to open all the schools in the state for Classes 9 to 12 from July 16 and for classes 6 to 8 from July 23.
The children are asymptomatic and have been isolated at their homes and the health department decided to launch a drive to collect samples from various schools to detect coronavirus positivity.
The civil surgeon sent a letter to the district education officer asking him to get sampling done in all government and private schools in Haryana.
Orders have also been given to ensure the vaccination of all school teachers.
