Magnitude-3.1 earthquake hits Assam

GUWAHATI: An earthquake of magnitude 3.1 on the Richter Scale jolted Assam on Saturday morning.
The earthquake occurred at 7.31am.

According to National Center for Seismology, the epicentre of the quake was located at 34km west of Assam’s Tejpur with a depth of 17km.

No casualties have been reported so far.
