SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh government has appointed HPPS officer Brijesh Sood as ASP of chief minister’s security once again. A notification issued by chief secretary Anil Khachi said Brijesh Sood presently temporarily attached to police headquarters at Shimla will resume his duties as additional SP of CM security, relieving Puneet Raghu, ASP of 3rd Battalion Pandoh, of this charge with immediate effect, in public interest.
Chief minister Jai Ram Thakur while interacting with mediapersons at Shimla on Friday said the decision on Brijesh Sood was taken on the basis of inquiry report. He said proceedings in the rest of matter would continue.
A video had gone viral wherein then Kullu SP Gaurav Singh was seen slapping ASP Brijesh Sood while CM’s PSO Balwant Singh was seen kicking the Kullu SP right outside Kullu airport at Bhuntar on June 23.
