COVID-19 pandemic: According to the fresh guidelines by the government, markets to open in the state for six days.
Dehradun: The Uttarakhand government extended the COVID-19 curfew by one week with some relaxation. As per the revised order, gyms to open at 50 per cent capacity and markets to open in the state for six days.
However, certain more relaxations were introduced by the government with changes in old standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Earlier, the state government had extended its Covid-19 curfew till June 22.
COVID-19 situation in Uttarakhand
Amid the decline in Covid-19 cases, Uttarakhand’s active cases tally reached 2,465. The state also reported two deaths in the last 24 hours against the deadly contagious coronavirus which took the cumulative death toll to 7,088. The number of cured/discharged/migrated patients count in the state stands at 3,30,066.

According to the official data of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), a total of 42,14,691 beneficiaries got inoculated against the COVID-19. As per the latest data, 34,43,234 people have got the first jab, while 7,71,457 beneficiaries gave got the second jab of vaccine as of June 28, 2021.
