As COVID cases in India have gone down significantly, there are certain countries where Indians can finally travel to. But does this mean you do not have to follow any quarantine rules? No. All covid protocols must still be followed, as the pandemic is far from over. With talks of a third wave hitting us sooner than we can imagine, citizens must be well-prepared and always on their toes. But what if you had to get away for a few days? Where could you possibly go? Here, places that are now open for Indians.
Russia
You can explore Russia now, as we saw Indian actor Tapsee Pannu doing so only a few days ago. Travellers are expected to go through a health checkup, and also go under quarantine until the test reports are out. You are also required to get an RT-PCR test 72 hours prior to boarding the flight, and yes, it must be negative.

Turkey
Yet another country that has opened its doors to Indian travellers. The country currently has moderate restrictions in place. Here, you are required to go under a 14-day quarantine. At the end of the 14-day period, you are required to take a RT-PCR test, and you will be permitted to leave the quarantine facility only after the test result comes back negative. Here too, you must get an RT-PCR test 72 hours before boarding the flight.
Egypt
The first step here is to take an RT-PCR test 72 hours prior to boarding the flight, and upon arrival you shall be subjected to a rapid test. If the result comes back positive, you will have an option to return or to stay in a quarantine facility. Also, health declaration is mandatory, so you will have to fill out some forms. Moreover, you must also pay for health insurance.
