SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh on Friday reported 1,262 new Covid-19 cases and 30 deaths, taking its coronavirus tally to 1,88,604 and toll to 3,070.
The state also saw recovery of 2,738 patients. With the latest figures, the hill state now has 16,989 active coronavirus patients.
In the state, maximum 11 deaths were reported from Kangra, five each from Mandi and Solan, four from Sirmaur, three from Shimla and two from Kullu district.
The new cases included 65 from Bilaspur, 109 from Chamba, 95 from Hamirpur, 290 from Kangra, 33 from Kinnaur, 67 from Kullu, 12 from Lahaul-Spiti, 181 from Mandi, 111 from Shimla, 119 from Sirmaur, 120 from Solan and 60 from Una.
