The state education minister, Suresh Kumar, has said that it is necessary to hold Karnataka PUC Board Exam 2021. He said that an appropriate decision on class 12 board exams would be taken in few days, considering various aspects and the Centre’s suggestions.
The Karnataka government had postponed the Karnataka PUC Board Exam 2021, which was scheduled to begin on May 24, 2021. As per the local daily, the state education minister said that holding the board exams by simplifying the process after COVID ultimately comes under control. He also stated that conducting Karnataka PUC Board Exam 2021 is an appropriate step in students’ future interest.
Suresh Kumar participated in the meeting chaired by the Union Education Minister held on May 23, 2021. He suggested the need to hold exams for class 12 board students in some way as they prepare for professional courses. He further added in case PUC exams starting in July, it will be possible to announce results within a month, so NEET, JEE, CET, ICAR and other competitive exams can be held accordingly. So, the decision has to be taken appropriately by considering each situation.
Karnataka has the experience of holding class 10 exams last year amid COVID 19. Considering that, it will not be a significant issue to hold Karnataka PUC Board Exam 2021. An appropriate decision on board exams will be taken in the days to come. Students will be notified at least 20 days prior to the commencement of the Karnataka PUC Board Exam 2021.
It has also been planned to provide an opportunity for students who will be unable to attend exams due to COVID. Those students will be given a special chance to appear for the Karnataka PUC Board Exam 2021 later.
