According to a report from BGR India, the details about the OnePlus Pay arrival in India was revealed by the popular tipster Mukul Sharma. He took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote: OnePlus has registered the trademark for OnePlus Pay in India, and it has already been accepted by the Registrar of Trademarks.
OnePlus Pay mobile payment service might arrive with a mobile wallet and NFC-based payment as well. The digital mobile payment service is available in China as part of the Wallet app. The service supports a limited number of apps but offers nifty features like double-tap on the power button to quickly access it. Notably, it was launched on HydrogenOS, the report said.
Earlier, in March, OnePlus launched its flagship 9 series along with an India-specific device called 9R and OnePlus Watch globally. The OnePlus 9 series comes with a new flagship camera system in partnership with legendary professional camera manufacturer Hasselblad.
The OnePlus 9 Pro price (12GB+256GB) starts at Rs 64,999 and OnePlus 9 (8GB+128GB) will cost Rs 49,999. OnePlus Watch will be available at a special launch price of Rs 14,999 in April. The 8GB+128GB OnePlus 9R for Rs 39,999 is an exclusive addition to the Indian market at the moment.
