Indian Idol 12 saw the appearance of Bollywood megastar Rekha in its latest episodes. The actress left everyone mesmerised with her presence on the show including the viewers, who took to their Twitter account to praise her for being a ‘Goddess’ and an ‘ageless diva’. Clearly, Twitterati couldn’t get enough of her and within a short span, Rekha started to trend on the social media platform.

Another user shared how she got hooked to Indian Idol on seeing Rekha. She tweeted, “Thanks to my grandparents, who still enjoy watching TV, I got to watch #Rekha on the screen after ages on #IndianIdol2021.”

It’s not just her dancing on stage which received praise but also her knack for recognising good artists and music. A fan pointed out, “Never seen such extraordinary music sense in any actor. #Rekha #indianidol.”
Another shared, “We don’t deserve Rekha. I mean she’s literally a goddess.”
The promos of the show had already created a lot of buzz. On the show, Rekha gave a ‘shagun ka lifafa’ to newly married Neha Kakkar, danced on stage in sneakers, and also shared how she’d like to adopt Pawandeep after he won her over by his singing.
