Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new Rs 197 prepaid plan which provides 2GB of free data per day. If the data is used up, users will be able to use the data at the reduced speeds of 80 Kbps.
In good news for prepaid customers in India, the government-owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new Rs 197 prepaid plan which provides 2GB of free data per day. If the data is used up, users will be able to use the data at the reduced speeds of 80 Kbps.
According to a report from the BGR India, the Rs 197 prepaid plan also includes free voice calls, free 100 SMSs a day, and access to the Zing Music app. However, the free goodies are available for only 18 days. The plan, otherwise, comes with a validity of 180 days, which is mainly to keep the BSNL number active.
Additionally, the government-owned telecom operator has come up with a special plan of Rs 108, can fetch a user 1 GB of data daily with a validity of 60 days. The new BSNL’s plan of Rs 108 offers daily 1 GB data with unlimited calling and the validity of data is up to 60 days.
Meanwhile, BSNL has made few changes in its prepaid plans as it plans to stop the recharge coupon of Rs 47, plan voucher of Rs 109, and special tariff voucher of Rs 998, and Rs 1098.
However, the Rs 365 prepaid plan price has been hiked by BSNL. It is now priced at Rs 397 but will continue providing the same benefits. To recall, the plan offers 2GB of data per day (for 60 days), 100 SMSs a day, and access to free Personalised Ring Back Tone (PRBT).
