Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), the ticketing arm of Indian Railways, has introduced special cashback offers for all the passengers who wish to book the train tickets via the IRCTC portal. The customers get a digital card for payment and online shopping via IRCTC’s iMudra facility. There is currently cashback offers on iMudra digital cards.
IRCTC’s iMudra app users will get cashback upto Rs 2,000 for shopping upto Rs 5,000. The offer is valid till February 28, 2021. The offer is applicable only on iMudra Visa/Rupay card transactions.
“CASHBACK DAYS ARE BACK! Add money in your IRCTC iMudra wallet and spend above Rs.5000 to get cashback upto Rs.2000. Offer valid till 28th Feb. REGISTER NOW!,” iMudra tweeted.
The IRCTC iMudra app offers wallet on the go. The IRCTC iMudra offers a physical and virtual card. You can shop online, pay bills, order food on trains, recharge your number, book flights or hotels or movie tickets. If you opt for a physical card for a minimal fee, then you get the facility to withdraw cash from any bank ATM.
Among other facilities, you can send or receive money using iMudra app. You can use your iMudra VISA card to make purchases only on Indian websites in Indian currency.
Meanwhile, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) also launched its online bus ticket booking services on January 29. Now, passengers can directly book bus tickets through the IRCTC website.
Under the new feature of online bus booking, customers will be allowed to view a variety of buses- such as Volvo bus, AC bus or non-AC bus and select the bus service which best suits their journey considering amenities, routes, ratings, reviews, and bus images available.
The customers will also be able to choose their pick-up and drop points and timings and finally book their journey at a reasonable price with the ongoing bank and e-wallet discounts too.
