The new-age lifestyle that we call the sedentary lifestyle has its own pros and cons. While the pros are lesser, the cons include a lot of health issues. One such problem includes fluctuating blood pressure. It is not a disease but a symptom that leads to various other health issues.
Also known as hypertension, it occurs when the pressure in the blood vessels reaches beyond safe levels. In simple words, it refers to the pressure of blood against your artery walls. Increased blood pressure can cause blood vessel damage that leads to heart disease, kidney disease, stroke, and other problems. Since this problem has become so common, it is significant that we discuss the possible solutions. For the same, HerZindagi spoke to an expert, Mr Kamayani Naresh, who is the founder of Zyropathy, a Zyro Healthcare Private Ltd.
“If you live a job or life that involves a lot of stress, there are chances that you are suffering from high blood pressure. The most common symptoms of high blood pressure include headache, uneasiness, shortness of breath, chest pain, blood in urine, numbness in hands and legs,” explained Mr Naresh.
“There could be various reasons of hypertension which includes smoking, obesity, too much alcohol consumption, stress, sleep disorder and sometimes the family history of high BP,” he added. Whatever be the reason, the easy way out to get rid of high blood pressure is to lead a healthy lifestyle, and for that, you need to regulate your eating habits and include foods and herbs that can help boost your body system.
Leafy greens like romaine lettuce, arugula, kale and spinach are rich in potassium and can help reduce excess sodium through urine and ultimately lower the blood pressure. Mr Kamayani Naresh told Hz that according to Zyropathy, BP is not an ailment but just a symptom of following-
- Stress, strain and anxiety- brain-related issues
- Heart-related troubles
- Lung ailments
- Kidney related troubles
- Issues with arteries and veins
Once the reason is identified then supplements are recommended to resolve the issue and BP is cured permanently and one can lead BP free life.
“According to various studies, there are many natural herbs that when combined with a balanced diet can help regulate the issue of blood pressure and keep you healthy and fit. These herbs and fruits can be consumed in raw or powdered form for effective results and are easily available in the market,” said Mr Naresh and suggested wholesome herbs and fruits for blood pressure problem.
