Indane LPG cylinder subsidy status: The subsidy on LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas) cylinders is given by the government to reduce the additional burden on households. But do you know whether you are actually getting it every time you book a cylinder? Well, it is very easy to find out if you do not know. The people who have gas connections can check it online. You can check the amount of subsidy and also from the account in which it is being transferred.
For starters, know that if your annual income is more than Rs 10 lakh then you are not entitled to get a government subsidy. The limit of Rs 10 lakh is based on the total income earned by you and your wife.
How to check subsidy on Indane Gas
Indane Gas company was started as a subsidiary company of Indian Oil in 1965. This company is currently giving services to over 9 cr homes. Those subscribers of Indane Gas get a government subsidy whose incomes are less than Rs 10 lakh annually.
There are two ways to check your LPG gas subsidy – one is the registered mobile number and the other is the LPG ID. It is easy to know the LPG ID. This ID is mentioned on your gas passbook. If your mobile number is not linked to your gas connection, then you can do it through your LPG connection ID.
Know your LPG subsidy details in these easy steps:
- Visit the official Indian Gas website. You can also download the Indane gas app.
- Once you land on the homepage, click on the LPG Cylinder image on the website. A complaint box will open where you are required to write ‘Subsidy status’ and then Click on the ‘Proceed’ tab.
- Then click on the Subsidy Related (PAHAL) button. Scroll down a bit to see the option of Sub-category. You will see a few options and have to select ‘Subsidy Not Received’.
- A new page open which will show you two options for Subsidy Status Check – one is Registered Mobile Number and the other is LPG ID. Choose the option that you want.
