Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank took to twitter to wish all the students of JEE Main 2020 exams and also assured of the measures. He also spoke with CMs to ensure assistance to students.
After much confusion and debate, JEE Main 2020 examinations are all set to begin from today across the country. On the eve of the examination, Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank addressed the students to again assure them of the safety measures taken. He also shared that he has spoken with the Chief Ministers of the almost all the states and appealed for assistance to the students in respective states.
Taking to his twitter handle, the Education Minister shared a message for the students via a video. Wishing the students best of luck for the examination, Education Minister shared that he was happy that over 7, 77 465 students had downloaded the JEE Main 2020 admit cards. He also shared that all the facilities would be provided to the students.
Reassuring all candidates of all possible assistance, Pokhriyal also asked students to reach out to NTA’s helpline numbers in case of any concerns. He also appealed to the students and parents to follow all health and safety guidelines issued by the government. Check out his message below.
Country gears up for JEE Main 2020
Meanwhile, states started their own respective preparations to assist the JEE Main 2020 exam candidates. From opening lodges and hotels for accommodations to starting the local train services, various measures have been taken. Meanwhile states like Odisha and Jharkhand have permitted hotels to accomodate students under the SOPs as detailed by MHA. Guidelines of NTA were also followed strictly at the examination centres across states ahead of the JEE Main 2020 examination.
