Google is all set to launch affordable Pixels in India on May 8. These phones are expected to be affordable versions of the Pixel 3 and the Pixel 3 XL. These phones are expected to be the Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL. Google is yet to confirm the name of the phones. Ahead of the launch, a lot has already been talked about the Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL. But no leak has been as extensive as the new leak coming from Samsung News. The full specs of the Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL have been leaked.
With Pixel 3a and the Pixel 3a XL Google will try to attract the Rs 30,000 – Rs 40,000 price segment in India. At this juncture, it is also safe to say that with the Pixel 3a series Google is targeting to take on the likes of the upcoming OnePlus 7 series. The OnePlus 7 series is all set to launch in India on May 14.
According to the leak, the Pixel 3a will be a toned down version of the Pixel 3 while the Pixel 3a XL will be the younger brother to the Pixel 3XL. The leak suggests that the Pixel 3a will come packed with a 5.6-inch FHD+ display with screen resolution of 2220x1080p and 18.5:9. Looks like the screen panel used on the new Pixel series will be called gOLED by Google. Possibly the “g” in the OLED stands for Google. There’s no clarity on this yet. The leak further reveals that the Pixel 3a will come packed with a 3000mAh battery with support for 18W Fast Charging. The Pixel 3a is said to come with an Always-On Display.
Let’s now shift our focus to Pixel 3a XL. By the looks at the specs, the Pixel 3a XL appears to be a much-upgraded version of the Pixel 3a. The leaks suggests that the Pixel 3a will come packed with a 6.0-inch FHD+ gOLED display with screen resolution of 2160x1080p and aspect ratio of 18:9. The leak also reveals that the Pixel 3a XL will come with a much bigger battery setup when compared to the Pixel 3a. The phone is said to come with a 3700mAh battery with support for 18W Fast Charging.
The leak also reveals that the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL will come in three funky colours including Just Black, Clearly White and Purple-ish. Notably, the upcoming Pixels are already teased by Flipkart. This suggests that Indian will be able to buy the new Pixels from Flipkart. The e-commerce teaser talks about the brilliant cameras of the new Pixel. The teaser reveals that Pixel 3a series will be able to shoot excellent low-light pictures.
